Rev. Kwadwo Twum Bossman and wife
In a worshipping environment the spring’s family of the Living Springs International Church Choir led the church to the Holy seat of God with singing and praying at their Achimota premises last Sunday.
The church organized a three day programme under the teaching of Rev. Sammy Pearson Opoku Acheampong the Senior Pastor and Rev. Kwadwo Twum Bossman, a UK based Pastor.
Sammy Pearson Opoku Acheampong ushered in the UK based Pastor as he mounted the pulpit, there was applause from the congregation as he walked majestically unto the stage when he was called upon to preach on the theme “Strategy of Fruitfulness”.
Rev. Kwadwo Twum Bossman said the word of God is food that makes us grow; the word can have positive effects on us if we let him into our lives, the word console and confront us. Things that are foolish before us are not foolish before God. He said that in Genesis 26 vs.1-6, Isaac had to leave his father’s land and went to an unknown land to be blessed. In human logic, it was not a wise thing to do. But as God directed him, he paid heed to God’s instructions and was finally blessed.
According to Pastor Bossman, “Famine is a season in our lives when things or properties are not available”. However he said that people leave their country to anther country because of economic problem (Famine) while they can stay and let God sow them the way to handle the famine. When there is no love available we can’t handle famine. When we face famine God has promised he will be with us till the very end of time even in famine and any other problem.
Human beings can never understand God, his words are inexplicable. To us there is no sense in those wonderful words, however God doesn’t need to ask or explain to us his ways.
He outlines the follows as ways we can handle famine in our lives:
Firstly, he said obedience was key (Isaiah 1 vs. 19) we need to have an unconditional way of obeying God’s words, never questioning or delaying on what he says. To be fruitful this year, there is a need to obey God. It is good to go back to the old times when we obeyed any directions, fasted when there was no fasting, stop being microwave Christians and return to the old days when we prayed for hours. We should never be carried away by fashion of the day.
Secondly, Persistence would make us fruitful in life; the lord will fight for us when we wait on him. We are not to live where we are but go back to the old days of waiting on the Lord because we need not to worry when we obey. We should let God show us the right time to sow our seed so that when the famine comes we will not be found wanting but ready for it.
The congregation of the Living Springs International Church listened attentively as Rev. Kwadwo Twum Bossman went on with his inspirational preaching.
After his sermon, a special anointing session was held where people fell under the impact of the Holy Spirit. The living Springs International can be located at Achimota (Christian Village). Back
