In John 14:12-14, Jesus assures His followers of miracles and even greater ones than what He did. Jesus however provided a condition that these miracles could only happen if they believed Him and the things He did.

This gives the Christian who believes in Christ and avail themselves every reason to expect wonders in their lives. One thing that has eluded Christians of today is that, we fail to appreciate that miracles thrive in certain atmospheres - of prayer, fasting and sacrifices of praise, worship and the likes.

It is this atmosphere that Rev. Tetteh Quarshie has created for miracles in the lives of many who approach him. The story of a Christian brother, Richmond is just an example of the greater works the Holy Ghost is doing through His servant, Rev. Brother Richmond had carried a gastrointestinal dysfunction from his childhood. With his condition, Richmond could not perform the normal human activity of egestion appropriately and could pass out faecal matter only once in a month. As a result, the hospital became more homely to Richie, as he is affectionately called, than anywhere else.

However, his fate was placed in a balance when he was admitted at the hospital recently. Richmond had been told he had a thirty percent survival rate - depicting a near-hopeless situation. Doctors were to perform an operation to take out rotten guts from his system. This, according to medical report, they needed to do quickly to save his situation.

To the glory of God, Richie survived this life-threatening operation, but was diagnosed of pneumonia later. Richmond had to be supported before he could respire. It was at such defining moment that he experienced the potent atmosphere of miracles of Rev. Tetteh Quarshie.

Unlike the now usual mode of spiritual healing administered by today’s men of God, Rev. Tetteh Quarshie only fervently and continually prayed with Richie whilst he was in the hospital. Call that divine intervention, and you would not be far from right; for God really intervened in Richie’s condition. Less than a week later, the brother was healed completely of pneumonia and could breathe properly.
